Walmart and Sam’s Club Raise $62,695 during Six-Week Campaign

Walmart and Sam's Club associates, customers and members recently wrapped up a six-week campaign to raise funds for Children's Miracle Network at Shannon Medical Center. The seven stores in the San Angelo market (6 in San Angelo, one in Brady) raised $62,695.

Funds generated from the campaign will serve the 16,000 children treated annually at Shannon. Like all Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraisers, 100% of funds raised from the event will help create miracles by funding needed medical equipment, training, and therapy programs for children treated at Shannon Medical Center and Shannon Clinic.

2017 marks the 30th anniversary of Walmart and Sam’s Club working with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise money for sick and injured kids in communities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
